During your stay in Zakopane, we invite you to picturesque sleigh rides combined with a bonfire feast. A fantastic, unforgettable adventure, unique atmosphere, breathtaking views, and great fun. We invite you to the organized Highlander sleigh ride in Kościelisko. A sleigh ride among picturesque scenery filled with mountain atmosphere will create a unique climate that you will not forget. The sleigh ride lasts approx. 1 hour, during which the ride will be illuminated by torches. Then we invite you to a bonfire with tasty refreshments and a band playing live music.
Our sleigh ride program includes
- Pickup from the place of residence along ul. Nędzy Kubińca in the area of the village of Kościelisko and the city of Zakopane (other locations by arrangement)
- Sleigh ride with torches in Kościelisko.
- After the sleigh ride, we invite you to a tasty refreshment, including roasted sausage and regular or highlander tea.
- A feast with a bonfire will be prepared in beautiful mountain scenery.
- The whole fun takes place in the beautiful surroundings of Tatra nature.
Sleigh ride hours in the winter season: 4:00 PM, 5:00 PM, 6:00 PM, 7:00 PM (Departure from Zakopane about 40 minutes earlier)

Do you have questions about one-day/evening trips from Zakopane? Here are the answers to the ones we hear most often.
The whole TrioTravel experience lasts approximately 2.5 to 3.5 hours. This time consists of three main parts: about 1 hour of scenic torch-lit sleigh ride, about 1 hour of traditional highlander feast by the bonfire with food, drinks and live górale music band, and the remaining 30–60 minutes are for organisation and return transport to your accommodation.
Sleigh rides are scheduled at 16:00, 17:00, 18:00 and 19:00. If you use our transport, pick-up from agreed locations takes place about 40 minutes earlier. After phone contact, it is possible to arrange a different time if available.
Of course! The sleigh ride is a fantastic family attraction. Children up to 3 years old travel free on a parent’s lap. For comfort and safety, children aged 3–10 must have a reduced-price ticket which guarantees them their own seat in the sleigh.
We serve authentic regional specialties – all unlimited: highlander bigos (hunter’s stew), sausage to grill yourself over the fire (or pre-grilled), grilled oscypek cheese, thick slice of bread with homemade lard, pickled cucumbers, bread and condiments (ketchup, mustard). Drinks: regular tea, highlander tea and mulled wine – everything unlimited.
We offer mulled wine and highlander tea (with alcohol). You are also allowed to bring and consume your own alcohol during the bonfire feast. For safety reasons, the organiser reserves the right to exclude participants whose level of intoxication poses a risk to themselves or others.
We are prepared for any weather! If there is not enough snow, the sleighs are replaced with traditional horse-drawn wagons or carriages. The program and its duration remain unchanged.
Both the ride and the feast take place outdoors. During the sleigh ride we provide warm sheepskin blankets. The feast is held in a covered area by the fire (much warmer than outside), but we still strongly recommend very warm layered clothing – hat, gloves, warm jacket, insulated trousers and thick socks are essential.
Yes, return transport (pick-up and drop-off) is included in the ticket price for everyone staying in Zakopane and the Kościelisko municipality. For other locations, please contact us in advance to arrange details. (881 201 205)
Yes. Guests coming on their own are asked to arrive at least 15 minutes before the start time (e.g. 16:00, 17:00, 18:00 or 19:00). After booking, we will send you all the necessary information, including the exact Google Maps pin and meeting point.
Our sleighs are larger and seat 8 to 12 people, ensuring comfort and plenty of space during the ride.
