A unique and one-of-a-kind opportunity to experience the beautiful winter aura of the famous Chochołowska Valley! During your stay at the foot of our beautiful Polish Tatra Mountains, you cannot miss a real highlander sleigh ride. TrioTravel can offer you a unique sleigh ride in Chochołowska Valley, where you will not experience the crowds and noise of the city. The one-hour sleigh ride will be illuminated by torches, and when they go out, we will replace them with a feast by a highlander bonfire, the famous Watra. The refreshments prepared for you will already be waiting by the glowing bonfire, and the time will be enlivened by a real highlander band.
Our sleigh ride program includes
- Pick-up from the place of residence in Zakopane and Kościelisko municipality (other locations to be agreed upon)
- Scenic sleigh ride with torches in Chochołowska Valley in 4-person sleighs* with a short stop for souvenir photos.
- After the sleigh ride, roasting sausages by the bonfire with regular and highlander tea and highlander bigos (possibility to bring your own alcohol).
- A real highlander feast with live highlander music.
- The whole fun takes place in the beautiful surroundings of Tatra nature.
- Duration approx. 2.5 - 3h

- * For groups of 3 (or 7, etc.), a fee for an empty seat in the sleigh applies: 70 PLN
- * in case of insufficient snow or lack thereof, sleigh rides take place on wagons/carriages

Do you have questions about one-day trips / evening events from Zakopane? Here are the answers to the ones we hear most often.
The whole TrioTravel experience lasts approximately 2.5 to 3.5 hours. This time consists of three main parts: about 1 hour of magical torch-lit sleigh ride, about 1 hour of mountain feast by the bonfire (Watra) with food and live highlander music, and the remaining 30–60 minutes are for organisation and transport.
Sleigh rides are scheduled at 17:00 and 19:00. If you use our transport, pick-up from agreed locations takes place about 40 minutes earlier. * After phone contact, it is possible to arrange a different time if available.
Of course! The sleigh ride is a wonderful family attraction. Children up to 3 years old travel free on a parent's lap. For comfort and safety, children aged 3–10 must have a reduced-price ticket which guarantees them their own seat in the sleigh.
We serve authentic regional specialties: highlander bigos (hunter’s stew), sausage to grill yourself over the fire (or pre-grilled), grilled oscypek cheese, thick slice of bread with homemade lard, pickled cucumbers, bread, and condiments (ketchup, mustard). Unlimited hot drinks: regular tea, highlander tea and mulled wine. (Everything unlimited)
We serve mulled wine and highlander tea (with alcohol). You are also allowed to bring and consume your own alcohol during the bonfire feast. For safety reasons, the organiser reserves the right to exclude participants whose level of intoxication poses a risk to themselves or others.
Yes, at the feast location (Watra) you can purchase extra items. In addition to the included food, you can buy other hot dishes (e.g. żurek sour rye soup) and additional drinks.
We are prepared for any weather! If there is not enough snow, the sleighs are replaced with traditional horse-drawn wagons or carriages. The program and duration remain unchanged.
Both the sleigh ride and the feast take place outdoors. During the ride we provide warm sheepskin blankets. The feast is held in a covered area by the fire (much warmer than outside), but we still strongly recommend dressing very warmly in layers – hat, gloves, warm jacket, insulated trousers and thick socks are essential.
Yes, return transport (pick-up and drop-off) is included in the ticket price for everyone staying in Zakopane and the Kościelisko municipality. For other locations, please contact us in advance to arrange details. (881 201 205)
Yes. Guests coming on their own are asked to arrive at least 15 minutes before the start time (17:00 or 19:00). After booking, we will send you all the necessary information, including the exact Google Maps pin and meeting point.
All our sleighs seat 4 people, which guarantees comfort and plenty of space during the ride.
Yes, if your group leaves an empty seat in a 4-person sleigh (e.g. 3 people), a supplement of 70 PLN for the empty seat applies. This ensures comfort for everyone and smooth organisation.
